Name recognition for a brand no one was familiar with?

My idea.

Oh yeah. We also made a whole movie to promote their flagship window AC unit.

But it won a gold Andy, two bronze Clios, was shortlisted by the One Show, and was featured on AdAge, so….

(It was literally a 90 minute video of an air conditioner.)

In addition to brand recognition, what Midea really wanted was a New York City takeover.

They wanted a city with notoriously hot summers and copious amounts of window AC units to know about the Midea U: the best AC for New York City.
